Rough Runnings
In June 2007, team Rough Runnings contested the newest Street Safari challenge. Calais2Casablanca is a professionally organised rally and 2007 saw more than 70 teams attempt to traverse much of Western Europe in cars that had been purchased for no more than £100.
The journey took the Rough Runnings team through France, Andorra, Spain and finally Morocco in a 2000 mile test of endurance for both team and car.
Finishing the rally in 1st place, we raised over £2500 for Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, a worthy charity that saves lives with the sole backing of charity donations.
